Day Treatment Programs
Foster Open Growth and Learning
At Webster Street Academy, we understand that there are lots of reasons that students struggle at school. And while some of the issues may be educational in nature, they almost always include a behavioral component as well.
It’s why we provide a robust therapeutic component for each and every one of our students. At Webster Street Academy, we don’t wait until a student fails yet again to step in. We take the time to figure out why your student is struggling, and then implement intervention that can begin assisting them day one. We provide the support, programming and attention each of our students needs to point them on the pathway to success.
The majority of our students are 5th through 8th grade. Schools that have contracted with us send students when it’s clear their needs are not being met at their home school.
At Webster Street Academy, we keep our classes small, never more than 12 students, so that our kids get the attention they need. We follow Ohio Department of Education standards and offer a curriculum that is both individualized and engaging. In addition to academics we focus on therapy. Our students participate in group therapy daily and individualized therapy weekly. This therapeutic piece is what sets Webster Street Academy apart, and when it’s wrapped around an engaging educational program our students have the best chance for success. An intervention specialist, highly experienced teachers and a tutor work alongside our therapists and case workers to ensure close, personal relationships develop with our students. In this setting kids are both academically successful and learn the coping skills they need to help get them back on track.

Eastway has partnered with Educational Empowerment Group to offer integrated mental health and educational programming for children in need of behavioral and mental health services. The therapeutic setting with an educational component provides children with a safe, comfortable place for them to learn and build the skills necessary to return to their home school and to function successfully in their communities.
In addition to The Heritage of Hannah Neil Program, we also provide therapeutic services through our Outreach Program where services are provided in the student’s home school.
