Webster Street Academy

Webster Street Academy’s educational philosophy is that learning MUST start at the level where the student is truly functioning and not at a level others believe to be appropriate for that child. This is essential to learning because academics that are too difficult lead students to experience frustration, while academics that are too easy lead to boredom.  Our youngest members of society require specialized attention in an environment that will foster open growth and learning. At the Webster Street Academy, our faculty, therapists and staff are committed to providing a positive environment that nurtures and sustains the emotional well-being and personal development of every student.

We recognize the importance of each student realizing his or her individual vision for the future, and the importance of them becoming productive members of society, so our aim is to help facilitate these ends with individually tailored assistance for each student. Therapeutic services are provided in the context of a school day, allowing for more comfortable integration into a student's routine.

In addition to Webster Street Academy, we also provide therapeutic services through our Outreach Program where services are provided in the student’s home school.

The Heritage of Hannah Neil

Eastway has partnered with Lumin Academy to offer integrated mental health and educational programming for children in need of behavioral and mental health services. The therapeutic setting with an educational component provides children with a safe, comfortable place for them to learn and build the skills necessary to return to their home school and to function successfully in their communities.

In addition to the Heritage of Hannah Neil Program, we also provide therapeutic services through our Outreach Program where services are provided in the student’s home school.
